1. What does dog daycare include at River’s Dog Retreat?

Our Rockwall dog daycare includes supervised group play with access to outdoor and indoor play yards. When your dog is dropped of they remain in a social environment until they are picked up. Dogs are grouped based on size, temperament, and play style for a safe and positive experience.

2. Is dog daycare safe for all dogs?

Safety is our top priority. All dogs on their first scheduled day of daycare will be required to arrive at the facility between 7am-8am to allow for your pup to meet the staff and be the FIRST dog out in the play yards to sniff around to ensure they are comfortable in a social environment as their friends arrive one by one. This method helps build confidence in trust when joining the pack. We carefully monitor all playgroups throughout the day and will adjust accordingly.

3. Do dogs get outdoor playtime during daycare?

Yes, dogs enjoy supervised outdoor play in our K9 turfed play yards, weather permitting. Our outdoor areas are designed for safe, active play with shade and space to run.

4. How often can my dog attend daycare?

Dogs can attend daycare on a regular schedule or as needed, depending on availability. Many clients use daycare multiple times per week for exercise, socialization, and routine.

5. How do I enroll my dog in daycare in Rockwall, TX?

To enroll, complete the pre-enrollment form in Gingr (Facility code 589187). After that, we’ll schedule your dog’s first visit and evaluation to ensure the best fit for daycare.
